code 10716 fuel pump

I just got this code, 10716 last night. Does this relate to the LPFP or HPFP? I just had my HPFP replaced in march of this year.

Is this code enough to bring it into the dealer to get them fix the fuel pump under the extended fuel pump warranty im at 60K miles.

That code is indicative of a bad low pressure fuel pump.

Low pressure fuel pump is under the pass rear seat correct?

Yes, it's the one that ensures that the high pressure fuel pump sees a stable inlet pressure.

I believe the sensor is actually in the engine bay.

Yeah I figured that. I have to get mine replaced as it seems faulty

I would assume the low pressure would be included in the warranty.

^ it would make sense, just wanted to see if anyone had theirs replaced.

Think I would be good to drive around until after Thanksgiving, I wont have time to take it in until then.
