I heard terry talk about map6 on the new firmware about being ok to run if your fbo with 93 oct..He said he set a default for it for everyone and if adjustments need to be made ,then you can do it.I rather leave it from the way he set it.Do i have to load it threw the laptop,or just flip map 6 on?thanks.

I think it is preloaded, however I'm not sure, but I do know that I accidentially hit the save button when fiddling around in the software while connected/logging and then a bit later I tried map 6 out. The car ran fine for a few WOT runs, but then I got a limp mode (30FF), but I think it's my particular car that has a problem. I will do the solenoid bypass and try again. I had this underboost code with my previous tune as well, when boost was too high. No knock or anything from the log. It felt stronger (as it should) than map 2 with the "preset" values in the newest 9/16 (or 9/17 as it says) software. I'm FBO and always running Shell V-power 93/94 octane (99-100 RON in EU).

Map6 is set at certain values out of the box, but currently this is not meant to be an off the shelf map and requires logging, feedback, etc.

We are working on a stronger default map6..

The more you offset the lower the performance as a general rule.
