Progman 25 update in Seattle?

Has anyone successfully convinced their dealerships to do this around here yet? Esp BMW seattle since that's where I bought mine

I had two upgrades done at BMW Seattle. First was for 25.00.04 which broke my RTTI and VR as everyone else experienced. My last upgrade was to 25.01.xx. All my functions are back now.

I worked with Denise in service. I used this complaint to get it done.
CCC: Navigation system pop-up arrow display missing. Refer to SI B84 61 06

The following SIB fixed my issues from the above upgrade and should get you the latest version.

A month ago I complained of slowness but BMW of Seattle did their best to try and prevent me getting the update.

They told me that they were told not to update anymore cars until something was fixed. Would call me when it was fixed but apparantly they have forgotten (what a surprise).

BMW of Bellevue wanted to charge me.

Hell I just had the entire GPS Central Unit replaced which involved an update to 25.01. Thus far everything is working perfectly.

New colors are very nice.

BMW Seattle and their service department went the extra distance.

Can you do me a favor Revlis and tell me which SA you went through?

BMW of Seattle was very strict on trying to not let me get the update.

I asked BMW Seattle about an update and they had no idea what I was talking about.

You have to give them the SIB numbers or else they will never find it. Below is the one I used. Don't know if there is a newer one available.

I dealt with Shannon the Service Manager after my initial attempt at repair fell on deaf ears and I wound up just getting my Ipod adapter installed with no real attention paid to my GPS freezing up. I was pretty pissed.

Initially my SA was Jeff or something I dunno, But I dealt with a new Guy Tony I think it was, last time and it went well, but with Shannon Standing over everyones shoulders it went very well.

What happened was that I stopped in to have service take a quick look at my GPS cause it was locked up tight. When I arrived the Shop foreman went out and did his best to fix it, NOTHING. So he said I have to make an appointment and get it some time in the shop. Well somewhere along the line the fact that the Foreman had already pronounced the GPS DOA got lost.

So my GPS functionality was written down as "Customer Has Concern" and they couldn't See anything wrong at the time so NO action was taken after day long wait. Grrr.... I supper pissed because of the comment on the work order making it sound like I'm just "Silly" So when I went to pick up my ride and asked to speak to the manager. Shannon was on the spot in a second, I explained carefully what was going on and what hadn't been looked at. Then, Like I said everything went like clock work, and I'm pretty sure Shannon is a super hero as he not only got my GPS squared away but he Managed to get me a Loaner as well.

So far I gotta say I have a Huge Woody for Seattle BMW. Winter my CA made it fun, London made working the deal less painful, and the lease inception with Adam was actually a good bit of fun... No Shit.

Hell they even DON'T Wash my car when I ask them not to. :rocks:

...

Finally got the update. They refused to replace the cabin air filter even though it smelled like paint. We all know the bodyshop won't pay for it.
