Help No Amp!!!!

Hey guys just got my car and i guess someone robbed the amp out of it, i was wondering if anyone has one for sale cheap or if i can just use a regular amp and cut the harness, anybody do this before? if so do you have a diagram or wiring guide?

Are you sure you have no amp? The stock amp is hardly worth robbing... Pretty sure the lowest sound system doesn't have an amp at all. Maybe a stupid question but does the music work?

If u want to wire a new amp best route would be to get a technic harness which plugs into stock wire harness and gives you plugs for an amp.

im pretty sure i have logic 7, and the space in the driver side of the trunk is empty with two harnesses just laying there, the radio works and everything just no sound...

Oh damn well mabe u should talk to whoever sold u a car without an amp. The Logic7, if you have it, is a special connector ud have to get a new or used amp from someone I believe.

Maybe run the Vin number at BMW to see what options it came with .
If the radio has and equalizer option and you have a center speaker in the dash then you have logic 7.
If its logic 7 a regular amp won't work because it uses a Fiberoptic connection from the Head Unit to amp. Only the original Logic 7 amp is capable of using
that signal.
If its not logic 7 and is Hi Fi no wires need be cut you just need a technic harness and and aftermarket amp . (like a Jl xd 600/6 , 6 channel ) there are other amps to that will fit but most aren't 6 channel. You probably should upgrade your speakers if you do this.

There is a logic 7 amp for sale in the classifieds and it looks like it was just cut out of a car! You didn't get the car from FL did you?

FYI Logic7 amp worth about 600-700 on ebay.
