I just bought a 08 328xi coupe non nav but premium sound system just turned my car on and no volume... Everything else on the radio seems to be working fine just no volume? Any suggestions????

Amp failure for Logic 7 seems common.
There have been quite a few cases of that here lately.
I believe there is a guy that repairs them in Florida. I think
Technic might no who and where he is .

Wouldn't that be covered under my factory warranty?

But the entertainment system is not covered under the extended warranty
from what I understand unless its a good faith repair.
Also if the car has a low battery charge its starts doing power management
and turning off things that aren't necessary for the car to run its kinda freaky.
Check your battery eye and its a good idea to have a voltmeter around to check the voltage on the battery.
