Clear Bra

Thinking about installing my clear bra myself. I see the kit I need online for 1/5 the price I've been quoted. And it looks so simple. I'd never try to do my own tint, but the bra looks super easy. Anyone have any experience with the install?
I'm looking at pre cut 3M kits between 150 and 200 bucks. Best quote i've gotten is 500. And thats without the headlights and mirrors.

Thanks

If your willing to take a gamble go for it, but its not easy.
Edit I realized that kit doesnt have the bumper? So then yea its not that bad. The bumper is the hardest part.

The other kits have bumper, door handles and everything else. 250 will get you everything plus an install kits with spray bottles and stuff.
Thats still half off for the same product. More money for other stuff. I think I'm going to go for it.

I did the install on my car myself. You'll need a hard card or plastic squeegee, spray bottle, and hairdryer. Takes a lot of time to get all the bubbles out. Took me approx 4 long tedious hours, but definitely give you piece of mind with the added protection of it installed.

Definitely worth the effort in my opinion, but I'm glad I don't have to do it again for hopefully a few more years.

Thanks for the input.
Just a little patience and save myself some cash for more mods!

I think it's worth the time and effort considering the cost of a pro job. I'll probably do mine too, I'm wrapping my trim next week so once I get done with that.

Will do. Ordered the kit yesterday. Just hood, fenders and tinted headlights. If it goes well I'll order mirrors and bumpers.

Install went terrible. But the headlight tint went OK.
I installed the clear Bra and got all the bubbles out. And then it turned foggy. I think I used too much heat? but I ended up ripping it off. I'll try it again next weekend.
