Options for playing Spotify through car stereo

I have a premium spotify membership for my iPhone and want to play it through my radio (2007 E92)... What are the options for doing this? Any include being able to use your iDrive to control it? Can you stream via bluetooth?

this was on my jailbroken 3gs - i now have an un-jailbroken 4s... you can still listen to spotify you just can't control it without the jailbreak app

It plays perfectly fine without jailbreaking - you just can't control it from the wheel. Just set up some big playlists and hit shuffle and let er rip

For bluetooth streaming, purchase a Blackberry Stereo Gateway for about $30. It requires USB power and the aux in. Pair your phone to the gateway, switch the radio to aux in, and play from your phone. You can't control spotify this way, but you do stream wirelessly.

I use this currently for Pandora and hit a Radio station and let it play. Works very well and the audio quality is quite good.

The other option is a Combox retrofit if you want OEM quality.

Just use the oem Y cable - works fine
