Latest DME Software

As some of you may know i'm having issues with idle misfires that i'm currently trying to solve.

I'm swapping the plugs out this w'end which will hopefully fix the issue. However as a last resort i am considering updating the ecu to the latest DME software version, been thinking of doing this for a little while anyway.

I know that a little while back some software versions contained the dreaded turbo lag wastegate band aid fix. Can anyone confirm that the latest software version doesn't include this as i would hate to go from a misfire issue and end up with lag?

Are you running a tune? Usually, misfires are hardware related to either plugs, coils or injectors and a tune will amplify the problems if everything is not in tip top shape

Thanks for the post

I'm runing an Evolve tune. Have allready replaced all coils injectors and swapping out the plugs once more for a different brand this w'end to see if that helps.

I'm really keen to hear if there is anything i need to be aware of regarding the latest DME software, mainly if its laggy or not?

Plugs usually last 20-25k before people end up with problems (some go further of course). I wouldnt switch brands and only use OEM or bosch.

Not sure about software, my car has been tuned since day 1

I just had my car at the dealer so they could bend me over and rape me hard... but after the raping they also replaced a couple things under the recall including giving me the most up-to-date software (got the car back last friday)

there is no lag on my car

Do you know what DME version you are currently running or is it the one from when you bought the car?

Thanks for the info!!

Looks like the current software version is issue free. Will get my local Indy to flash it next week. Last DME update I had was 12 months ago, maybe they have addressed the idle problem since then in the new software.

Will report back...

If you remember, after you get it please post the latest software program number, I would like to check it against my last download which was late last year. Thanks!
