KKS F1 Sound Valvetronic Exhaust - Holy shit Batman

So in my never ending search for the perfect sound for my 335i, I came across some chinese websites and some random companies and then somehow ended up on this youtube video.

First it revs with the Valve Closed, then it opens the valve and revs... then it goes WOT

Another video... sounds pretty damn loud in this one actually, but I do love the tone of it.

Am I just being fooled by the fact that it's really loud or does that not actually sound really unique and different for the 335i?
Seems like when they are revving, thers is some type of an underpass right behind them which is echoing and making it a lot louder, also the fact that it's night out makes it sound a lot louder..... the tone does sound pretty nice though.

At first I thought it just sounded like a muffler delete, but then it kind of sounds like the BMW Performance exhaust mixed in with the muffler delete.

Looking for some of your input.
If anyone has a muffler delete does this just sound like a straight through muffler?

The thing that I like about it is the fact that its valvetronic.... so you can be tame when you like or cruise on the highway quietly, but when you want to open it up it sounds beastly.

To me it's not really about the volume, but moreso the F1 type sound.... it sounds like the BMW Performance Exhaust but louder and a bit more screamy.

It's pretty much the same concept, but it doesn't dump the exhaust out before the mufflers.... it actually flows through the muffler, but it sounds like it may just be flowing through a straight through section of the muffler.

It sounds more defined than a muffler delete though which leads me to believe that there is some sort of design in the muffler which changes the sound to be that way.

I have added a second video.... sounds even louder in this one. I'd probably through a cat onto the midpipe to quiet it down.

Haha, insane when you want.... hit the switch and it sounds even tamer then stock.

Now it all comes down to the price tag.... so we'll see.

I do have a bad habbit of getting hyped over things when I'm first introduced to them and then not liking them much after, which explains why I've jumped a couple exhausts so far. I feel like my mission in life is to find the perfect sounding exhaust for this car haha.

So the price I got it 125 000 Yuan..... which is abotu $20 000..... something has to be wrong with that?? There's no way anyone has ever bought this exhaust for $20 000.

Hopefully they meant $2000.... I'd be all over it then.

EDIT: $6000 including mufflers + mid-pipes SHIPPED... and the videos have catless downpipes as well which they don't include.... just great haha.

Would be dissappointing to spend that much money if it sounds exactly like a muffler delete though.

I think it sounds better with the valve closed. Sounds too loud and raspy with the valve open... like a modded civic.

Its a Kreissieg F1 valvetronic exhaust. Few people on M3forum ran them on their e46's.

$6k for a 335i exhaust from Taiwan...damn. I would rather go for the Akrapovic titanium exhaust for that kinda money.

With regards to the quest for the perfect exhaust solution on this car, I don't know if you will find an exhaust that will be truly satisfying as on a NA V8. Do keep us posted though!

Sounds like CP-E when running catless DPs, just more raspy and loud.

That's what I was thinking too, but up top it kinda of does have a different tone to it.

Maybe I should run the BMW Performance Mufflers with a cutout right before the mufflers and throw the downpipes back on haha, it'll cost a lot less then 6 grand to have a controllable muffler delete if that's the case.

+1
That was going to be my suggestion. It would be cool if you could have it vaccuum controlled so it operates like the stock flapper, just on a more extreme level
