long story short, nothing to worry about ( IF YOUR CAR IS TUNED RIGHT ), some fellas around here been tuned for over 60k+ miles with minimal mechanism issues.

your next mode list could be: downpipes, FMIC, METH, etc....

Older built date n54 have WG rattle which is normal, if you are under warranty take it to the dealers, they will fix it for you.

oh and : tons of information out there.

I talked with the tech at my dealership and he said they could adjust them, but chances are it wouldn't fix it. He also said it's a real bitch to get to the one side. I think PROcede is the only one mod that has an adjustment. But even with mine set at 30 it still rattles a bit when it's cold.

I was in the same situation and did the meth first. I think you'll be very happy with how the meth really smooths things out and your car will pull really hard on pump gas. Good luck. Sounds like you got a good deal. I paid almost 10k more for my '07 a year ago.

Start reading all the "stickied" threads at the top of the list and you'll learn it for yourself, versus having other people tell you. I just got my own 335i last month, have owned BMWs since I was 18, currently run a BMW exclusive performance shop, and I still had a lot to learn about the N54. The info here is quite good, especially the BMW training documents on the N54.

catless downpipes next for sure.. and don't mind the wg rattle, and don't even bother having dealer mess with it. they have a reflash they'll apply which will somewhat neuter your cars power to adjust that waste gate rattle. just learn to love it, the capability of this motor makes up for it plenty.

Can you guys offer some suggestions on what to mod for power that is easily reversable. I am not looking to go all out, just a little more power. I have a stock 335xi sport package. Thanks!

Any piggyback, pick one. Or Cobb tune. Both easily reversible, significant power gains even on bone stock everything else.
