need help with tms?

ok guys, i have a 335i and changed my run flats with some mutec rims 19x8.5 but the tms tire check light comes on and stays on. is there something thats triggering it? i dont have the tms sensors due to someone telling me i dont need it and that the car never came with it. i have no clue, and i tried searching. i tried reseting it but same light comes on. any help out there?

if im not mistaken, on the 335's the TPMS are mounted with the wheels, you need to purchase new TPMS for your new wheels....

dont take me 100% on this, but from what ive seen, i think thats your problem

Doesn't matter if it's a 335i or not. It matters if it's an E90 or E92. E90s don't need the TPMS mounted on the wheels, but E92s do.

I have a 335i coupe, just installed beyern mesh 20s. I'll know I need new sensors that I can order from dealer or tirerack, but is this something I can install myself? or do i have to bring this to a tire store who installed my wheels and tires.
