So who sells rebuild kits for our 6hp21 AT tranny?

Title says all, I feel like my tranny will give up soon and Id like not just rebuild it but make stronger for all that upcoming single turbo stuff, I\'ve seen some rebuild kits for 6hp19 but haven\'t found anything for our tranny..

How do you know your tranny will give up soon? How much power are you pushing, and what are your mods?

Unless it's slipping I think you'll be fine.

Are you 100% sure it's your transmission that is failing? What tune are you running? I uploaded wrong map and firmware on proceed tune once and I thought my transmission was slipping badly. Replacing/rebuilding your transmission will cost you about $4000 + labor.

Try changing your trans fluid. Use a thicker trans fluid, than OEM, for your higher HP setup. See how that helps shifting feel.

you only have to worry when the trans is slipping. this happens pretty much after 450 real whp which you can only get with upgraded turbos or nitrous. try to reset your AT adaptations and service the trans. i am running Redline D6 which is approved by ZF trans and offers higher/lower temp protection than stock oem oil.
if you have a Vbox is preatty easy to see when its slipping . when it starts sounding like this than you have issues...
Check the first gear change with the overreving

after level 10 upgrade:

Enrita,

How is the driveability of your L10 box? Is there a significant downshift clunk in automatic mode, on deceleration?

As far as i can "feel" its great . i havent pushed 500 whp yet but will test this weekend a lot on 18 psi and meth weather permitting . So far so good and with procede the car is ferocious.

i live in sweden and it was no issue. they answered my mails straight away but best is to just call them. i got a very good deal with shipment , only payed 700 usd...
AGAIN you dont need to do anything with your trans on stock turbos. just service it. the stock trans is good for 450 whp no problems.
