Welcome to the community! Seems that most of us like either the H&R or the ACS, which is slightly stiffer than stock. Eibach gives you a lowered look and matches the stock springs in comfort.

In terms of wheels. There are tonnes and a personal preference. Breytons are widely available in Hong Kong but if you want better ones, you will most likely have to order.

Forgestar F14s seems to be the best bang for the bucks. Other favorites are Morr VS8.2 and Forged-1 7-mesh. All of these will have to be ordered from US. Check out the wheels section and the commercial sections and you will see all of them there!

Again! Welcome!

Welcome.

Mlai has said it all. The lowering springs seems to get softer a bit over time. They are a bit bouncier and bumpier for me after over half year time. If you want better stance and performance, go for coilover like KWV3.

H&Rs are too low and bouncy with Adaptive Drive. RDs are a little higher, but match the adaptive drive better. RDs also are a good bit stiffer than stock. ACS is a little higher than RDs and softer --- more like stock, but a little stiffer.

Stock springs are already very comfortable on the F10. Eibach gives you pretty much the same ride comfort as stock but lower the car a bit.....

That means Eibach and RDS would be good choice! more balance between comfort and outlook right? I'm worry about any problem for our driving dynamics control after changed the spring?

To be honest, would you guys thinks 20" is a bit too much for the 528...? With the stock 17", I've tried turning off the traction control , rev'ing up the engine to >4000 at the 6th gear in a large wide bend running at around 100km/hr. There just isn;t any faint hint of losing any traction whatsoever, even with the stock BS Turanza RFT. Yes, 20"/19" looks great on the F10 but billy you'd better off keep the stock tire+wheels a little bit longer after upsizing the wheels in case you regret latter on and have something to fall back to.

Not at all. As Andre Agassi said "Image is everything" Frankly, I love my car with large rims. Looks great.

Anyway, larger diameter rims won't have any difference for cornering. True, it makes the ride a bit bumpier and harsher for the low profile tires. It's wider tires, in most of our cases staggered set up, which improve the cornering. And this is the fact as law of physics. However the unsprung weight is a major factor therefore choosing light weight rims is the upmost importance.

I'm not tracking my car and my set up will not degrade the performance. Then again every time I look at my car with large diameter concave rims I feel cool. For me I just can't stand the stock wheels. That's why I swapped them right away when my car was delivered. Just my 2 cents. Peace.

You could always keep them stacked up somewhere like i do

I went back to OE and couldnt wait to get my 19's back on, but when i had them on the rear with OE 17's on the front, it don't feel nearly as bad.
I think the rear needs the larger/wider size for looks.. front I'm fine with

Oh no, are we invoking einstein again? ...

Did Agassi say that? it sounds like someone like Ralph Lauren or that Armani guy.. or an ad agency

Forgestar flow form rims are really value for bucks. I also love the Morrs.

Some good looking rims are cast and not light. Better shop around. Definitely no cast rims.

I thought I quoted from you. Grimmy Einstein.

Agassi sort of said that. Canon commercial slogan 20 years ago or so. But back then he has long curly hair. Now he is bald....

If it's just for the look, fine then.
In fact I've just made up my mind I won't mod my 528 1 mo ago after I was given a chance to test drive the Megane RS250 cup of my nephew. From now on the 528 will be driven as what BMW made it be, a luxurious sedan with some sporty character. All the money saved will hopefully go to a 2nd car, something i needed to help tackle my mid life crisis

Thats why the 528 w/N52 (here we go again..) is so cool , its two cars in one, one driven below 3rpm its just so mellow, above 3k.. it goes crazy batshit

Hopefully the declaration of impending midlife crisis will be enough to head off the actual harm done
