Cobb AP "extra" features request thread
I know they've mentioned that gauge hijacking is on their list of things to do, and I thought maybe we could start a thread here about various requests to consider.
I'd love to have:
That would make it perfect, which it's pretty darn close to right now! Suggestions by others:

I'd like to see them hijack the mpg, miles to empty, ave speed and use that for displaying boost, a/f, timing, IAT, ect.
Would also be cool if you could have different map setting's for AT guys. So driving in just D would be like Cobb's "Drive" map. Shift over to DS and it switches to Cobb's "Sport" or Aggressive" map. |

Thanks for these suggestions and keep them coming!
If you have the AccessPORT mounted in your car, it can be used as a shift light. Go to Monitor, then Set Rev Warning, and the AccessPORT screen will flash at the RPM you set it too. Ian |

I don't know what you could use it for but the cruise control needle, it just sits there most of the time not being used.
Other than that, for us iDrive folks a nice GTR style gauge cluster display would be nice Also the folks who don't have iDrive have the radio display, that could be useful for something.... Last edited by Dr_Dirt; 10-26-2011 at 12:23 PM.. |

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but rather than start a new thread this seems like the "least old" one to resurrect.
I'm seeing conflicting information in my searches about whether Cobb now supports 6MT launch control/2-step/stutterbox and no lift shifting for BMW. Their website also says nothing specific to BMW 6MT that I can find. Can anyone here confirm either way whether they do or do not support it at this time? |
