COBB day 1!!!
This tune is so amazing! Yes its the first one I've had but I'm really enjoying the power so far. Then towards the end of the first 30 miles.. this happens..

ha, nice.
I had the same thing, hpfp was going. I had started getting long cranks the 2 months before that running the procede. The power of the cobb made it pop. Uninstalled, dealership got me a new one, and off I went. |

One thing that does worry me a bit is my turbos are also making a terrible noise around 4k rpm. Would that have anything todo with the fuel pump? I recently installed a FMIC so I'm worried i may have a boost leak as well??

Ill try and get a sound clip of it today before i drop my car off. The best way i could describe it is it sounds like an N52 with a rouge exhaust on it.. i know that sounds oddly specific but my buddy has that on his 325 so thats what i can compare it too. My car has 26,XXX miles on it currently

All this after one day? Lol
Fuel pump was on its way out, plausibility meana its not bad enough to throw a cel. The turbos, theres nothing wrong with them, boosting a bit more means they will make a bit more noise. However its weird that you say its at 4k rpm.. Usualy you hear it when youre slowly getting into boost you hear a sort of siren/ whistle sound which is no biggie. Please check out next time how much boost you were running? |

I get the same plausibility code on a pretty regular basis, and have been for well over a month. No long cranks though, no accompanying codes, and running strong so I don't really worry about it. I had the injector (4 new, 2 seals) and hpfp recall done about 8k miles ago though, so I'd be surprised if the new hpfp is failing already.

I got the same fuel pump code within a week of flashing stage 1 with the AP. Uninstalled the tune and had the pump replaced through the recall. Still haven't found why I'm getting the boost leak code.

Yeah took it in to BMW for the fuel pump then brought it to my buddies shop to tighten up the leak.

wondering if it spiked up over 14-15 once or twice and my DVs leaked for a second or something, I don't log every second I'm driving. my girlfriend was actually the once driving the car when the light went on (she was scared to tell me because she was obviously ripping on it), I just read the codes afterwards.
