Procede Installed, very nice!

Simple and straightforward install, I did snap off one of the ECU clip even though I thought I was being very gentle with it... Oh well, nothing too vital...

Maybe because I am used to big twin turbos spooling up with that sudden kick in, so the smoothness of the 335i is more deceiving, but couldn't really say the car is much faster.

Although the car is now smoother and easier to start moving, so the affects are definitely there. Guess just with all these HUGE gain posts around I had unrealistic expectations...

Still, very nice and quality product and easy instruction to follow. Definitely thumbs up to Shiv and crew...

I keep hearing that it takes time for the ECU to adapt. Not sure what that means or why, but let us know how it feels in a 100 miles from now.

Thanks!

Not sure what ECU adapt there would be with a piggy back that completely bypasses and fools the ECU signals... Who knows, maybe the ECU will figure out that I stomp on the gas more often now so it will make some adjustment accordingly? Will see.

BTW, I don't think it makes a difference if you plug the in/outlet of rear boost solenoid with vaccum caps or just connect them together with one vaccum tube right?

I like the look of having the vacuum tube connected, make it more stock looking and less noticeable.

Make sure car up to temp... I noticed when the car is cold it really doesn't have the same punch as when it's been warm. I will say that 40-100mph is definitely much faster. Hopefully you will feel the same difference I feel.

I had the exact same feeling when I first got it installed . Just do alot of 20mph roll and flooring it up to 80mph often . You'll start feeling the difference in no time ! It's just that most of the people on this board come from a less horsepower car , so when they gain 40 or 50 RW horsepower , it's like a C6 Z06 feeling for them . Don't get me wrong , you will feel a big difference , but not the kind where you run a whole second faster in the quarter . You might barely cut in the twelves and that's with a excellent launch .

I can see how someone never driven really fast cars feeling more of a difference. Intellectually I suppose I should have figured that out, since I have been modding turbo cars forever...

Don't get me wrong, it's definitely quicker and definitely money well spent considering it's only $1300, just not the HUGE difference as a lot of the other procede owners have described.

Your review sounds like mine from earlier this week

Shes still no "rocket ship" as some have stated, but it is faster.

I agree. 400 hp/ 400 tq plus or minus isn't "scary fast" IMO. If you want a "rocket ship", you'll have to wait until turbo upgrades are available. This will require better fuel pumps, or additional sources of fuel supply, as some have posted. It will happen. Someone has already taken apart the factory turbos, not unlike the "zero headroom" K 16 external / K 24 internal hybrids that people use frequently in 996 TTs.

exactly what I said in my review as well. IMHO It's quite faster and less linear with slightly more lag but NOT a rocket ship as some have stated. It's money well spent and definitely the best bang for the buck + the car is much more fun to drive.

I believe that "silly fast" is slightly slower than "scary fast." However, "frighteningly fast" is slightly faster than "scary fast."

Yeah but I like that. Before the PROcede the car was boring and too civil. With the lag, now its almost like a warning to "hold on" before they kick in. Now I can really feel the push back into my seat whereas stock I couldnt.

I disagree with the statement that only people who are coming from less HP cars are feeling the difference. Ive always modded cars to the range where they were 12 second cars(except my last Audi) but I can usually feel ANY difference that I make.

You should definitely feel the difference the PROcede makes.

On the latest 1.45 map, I don't really notice any lag. In fact I thought that the lag was a little less noticeable than before.

THis is my first turbo'd car. I have v. 1.4. I'd say the lag isn't really changed, just the degree of power. So it feels more dramatic, and I think that equated to the feeling of lag. I don't think the time to power is different, just the absolute power is more. Does that make sense?

Installed the PRocede Yesterday, and let me tell you. I love my car more now. The car really fast and make you feel " YOU ARE THE MAN at the Road".

Thank you SHIV

Took time to get the Procede(early order) then mixed the wiring. Now every thing is running good.
