D1S -> D2S
Helping a friend who wants to swap out his OEM D1S bulbs on his E90 to 8000K's. He purchased bulbs from a sponsor, but the sponsor sent him 8000K D2S bulbs and told him to pull the igniters off the D1S, and put the D2S into the D1S igniters.
Sounds a bit fishy to me. Is this at all possible?
