Who needs their suspension installed?
This is Raider, i spoke to some of you about getting your stuff installed...I just did a couple of H&R sport springs on the E92 for local people...
My friend and i will drive to your house (within 30 mile radius) and install it for you...i have air tools and all the necessary equipments...install will take around 2 hours per car... I am free to do it on Sundays, if you guys are interested...shoot me a PM...

I logged in as you and it took forever to get to the forums. Once I clicked on one, I got the "server busy" message. I then logged back as me, and no problems. You better report to the admins. If you keep this new id, please set your avatar to the one you had in Raider

If you do it tomorrow, let me know.
I want to go see and learn. No, I have no plans on dropping mine. Just exploring.

Long day indeed, just came back not too long ago from dropping my car off at Shim's for an overnight zaino session and front painted splitters install.
First of all much thanks to raider/spool (Vince) and his friend Thomas for hooking me up. It was certainly a pleasure meeting you guys. You guys are the best The story We met up at 10:00 this morning and we spent just about the first hour hunting down the right spring compressor tool. No biggie, got to ride in Vince's Procede'd 335i E92 So basically we started work at about 11:00. The rears were pretty straightforward, I think Vince loosened up a couple of bolts, slid the arm down, swapped out the spring and that was that. There were some cussin' and sweating with a few stubborn bolts but that was the only hiccup. All in all we took about an hour on the rear springs. The biggest pain in the a$$ were the fronts, as we dreaded. We soon realize that the spring compressors Vince rented was not going to cut it so we broke for lunch and located another one. Well, that compressor didn't work so well either, making the remaining install a big pain. Before we know it 15:30 crept by when everything was all done. I think with the right setup the install wouldn't have been so hard, you don't really have to dismantle much to be able to slip the springs out. Note: I was able to take a close look at my Rogue Engineering spacers after about 1 year's use and I must say they are holding up well. They weren't even stuck to the hub, looks brand new aside from the dirt. Very nice pieces, if you're doing spacers, I highly recommend them over the others.

Brief review...haven't driven much on them yet.
Still waiting for the springs to settle to realize the full drop these eibach pro-kits will ultimately bring. So far, it definitely looks better than before. The first impression is that the car feels generally tauter/tighter. I think the springs are quite compliant and comfortable, almost comparable to the stock non-zsp setup. There is some good absorptions of surface irregularities. There is however, some bounce (subtle but noticeable) with the compliance. I also found the steering to be more communicative i.e. transmitting more of the road surface than before and it feels more direct. I think body roll is only slightly reduced, its still there, I guess nothing some sway bars can't fix. Overall happy with the results. The car's comfort is not overly compromised. Will know soon how the car will handle the rough terrain of DC's surface streets. Note: car is filthy, better pics after Shim's zaino treatment.

ase2dais...
Today's work was tougher than expected, still need to find a good spring compressor...the one at advance auto are longer than it needed to be so it sticks out just so that it come useless...had to improvise... but the more i do it the better and faster i get at it...Donny's car was the 3rd car i've worked on...and it shouldn't be that bad from now on...
