Holy fucking hell. Those images gave me goose bumps and a chill down my spine. It looks like your paint is severely cracking due to heat. They may have spilled hot motor oil on the hood. You need to take it back asap.

wow. I do a lot of detailing and I am kind of stumped. My only theory would be that it was exposed to massive, rapid temperature change. But think about how hot your hood gets with an engine under it in the summer sun. We are talking fast temperature changes. My only guess. A body shop might be able to give you some insight. go to a body shop and find the oldest SOB there. He will probably know what that is lol

Sucks man. Don't mean to sound insensitive, but how did you not notice that when you picked the car up?

WOW!

You should take it back to the dealer just in case if they had a mishap there. That looks like 15 yrs under the sun with no maintenance whatsoever.

Currently in NYC and at various cities around the world, we are having this movement called "Occupy Wall Street" (some of you may have heard of it). I suggest you start an "Occupy <dealership_name>" movement and get this issue looked into.

Your hood will need a full repaint in order to remedy this issue properly. If it isn't your fault then it shouldn't be on your tab.
