Change 325i engine into 335i engine.

I hear they are the same 3.0L V6, engines. Just the 335i has twin turbo. Can i add twin turbos to my 325i engine?

Yes and no. Anything is possible with money, but the N54 is very different from your engine. It's not just about adding turbos.

it will cost you less to trade-in than to do what you're asking reliably.

They are both 3.0 liter inline six cylinder engines, and they have some common ancestors of the same parentage, but that's where the similarities end. You could hang turbos on your motor, but you'd either break it, or waste a lot of money trying.

If you want an N54, buy an N54. It will cost less and you'll be happier with the result.

You can do a intake manifold swap from a 330I and get a tune for a pretty decent bump in power, but its still no 335. Search for info.

This would require different cams, the addition of turbos, a different exhaust manifold and intake, a wastegate setup, an intercooler and a completely different ECU. A different fueling system also comes into mind. So no, there is essentially nothing similar other than the fact that both are Inline 6's (NOT V6's)...

In other words, trade in your car for a 335i or you are wasting money.

They are I6 not V6. Nothing about them is similar except the liters which is irrelevant in most respects if not all.

No. If you tried it, hilarity would ensue. Why would you want to?

The N54 does not use the second generation Valvetronic technology found in the naturally aspirated N52 and the newer (single) turbocharged straight-6 N55.
The engine block of the N54 is similar to the older generation BMW M54 engine - all aluminum with cast iron cylinder liners. This is because the newer N52 aluminum-magnesium engine block was not deemed as suitable for turbo-charging

Per wikipedia... may be another reason if all the above isn't enough
