Kai is right, even though he is being as flip as I usually am. Your 2010 has a complex system, even though it's probably base Stereo, and the folks who worked on it did a bad job. If they charged you money, they should fix it. However, if they knew how to fix it, they should have fixed it before rolling the car, so you probably got their best shot already, and it was weak sauce.

You need to know if you have base Stereo or HK, and you need to be clear on what you're doing to the system to upgrade it. If you have base Stereo, adding a sub only is sort of a waste of time, you go from sounding like ass to sounding like ass with a lot of bass - and that probably sounds like ass too, even though it's loud.

We might or might not have a product that you would be interested in, I don't know, but asking online folks to fix a pro's problem for free is a bad call, because you should not be fixing their screwups - and because there are a myriad of ways to screw this up and we don't know which they picked.

There are plenty of examples on the forum of how a trunk sub was added successfully to the L7 system. It all starts with either a proper line output converter or an amp that can accept the outputs from the Logic 7 amp. From there on it is simple as pie.

Thanks I thought they would be able to handle the job but guess not.

Not many that can officially handle the 70 watts per channel. However my old blaupunkt tha1250 pnp had no trouble with it. The bp is rated for 8 volts I believe. The key is to NOT use any bass boost on the head unit, and use the amps gain instead.

The entry-level JL amps don't have the 8V balanced inputs that all the others have. I'm surprised it sounds like this, might not be a structural design problem, might be a bad install problem or a really cheap line-output-converter. With an HK system, adding a sub is a common approach and not terribly hard to implement.

To properly diagnose it, I would need to know what they did. Hence, recommending you return to the install shop.
