QUICK question for a newbie.....

I am looking to put on a quick coat of wax before winter on my black 328, and my fiance's silver lexus is250. Basically, i dont know a whole lot about the waxing/detailing process, but i have learned a bunch reading the sticky at the top of the page. The catch for these cars is that we dont have a garage....the cars are parked outside all the time, so an amazing detail isnt needed. I want something to give a protective coat for the winter....thats it.

Im picking up a PCXP off amazon, as well as some blue pads and a white one. From reading the sticky, my plan was to wash the cars, apply the Klasse All In One (AIO) (with blue pad?), apply Klasse Sealant Glaze (SG) (with white pad?), wash them, and im done........??????

Do i have the right idea, or am i totally off base? Thanks.

Go with a sealant instead of wax, it will last longer. Black Fire Wet Diamond would be a great choice for you

^ what he said. Sealants are synthetic waxes that can last much longer. This will be the way to go with your situation. Be sure to apply it on a blue pad on a low speed (think 3) as thin as possible.

This. BFWD is one of the best looking sealants too, but I have a BSM and JB so it makes mine pop more than other colors.

Durability is relative to what type of exposure the paint is under. If you're looking for winter protection then I'd suggest looking into Collinite products.

Klasse SG's durability is amazing but you'll notice that if u don't wash the car atleast 2x a month, that it begins to degrade big time. I don't see you washing it more than once a month considering u have no garage.
