Vibe LITEAIR4 in e92?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to add tweeters to my car, and also perhaps upgrade the midranges. I have the base stereo.

I will eventually add an amp and replace the subs with SWS8, but will be doing this progressively.

Has anyone got any experience with the above speakers? Are they any good, say compared to the ones that come as part of the Alpine retrofit kit?

Also, will they be a straight forward fit? If i need adaptors, which ones, or do I have to make them myself?

Thanks,

Tom.

Never heard of those, but looks like they will fit. You will definitely need an adapter though. In Europe, Focal 100KRS and 100VRS are popular, or Audiosystem and Jehnert components, both of which I believe come with special adapters.

The Vibe speakers are great value for money they offer power and quality for a small price (Alpine is not known for making great speakers, just amps so these would def be a better sound IMO then the Alpine’s), but the materials and quality of sound will not compare with the Focal 100KRS as Kaigoss pointed out, they are probably the most popular route of front stage mod audio in Europe. The Focals are HAND-MADE in France using some of the best-known-materials. The Focals are about £200 and will have to carry most of the sound reproduction as the rears and centre are more for the surround effect. So I would recommend investing in these. You won't regret!

All 4 screw-housing speakers require adaptors, as the doors only have 3 screw-housing. Your best bet is to contact 808MGuy for his 4" adaptors, they are great quality and are exactly what you’re looking for!

See the focals are £200, the Vibes are £65....less than a third of the price!

What are the adaptors you speak of that come with the focal?

Thanks for all your help

Tom.

There are no adaptors that come with the Focals they need to be bought separately check the link below you will see how they come and how they fit...
