Hit a deer and busted fron bumper. Should I upgrade to M Sport or M3 Replica?
I hit a small deer last night and it did enough damage to my front bumper that I'll have to replace it. The car is a 2011 335d (e90 LCI) with sport package. Since my insurance will pay for a new bumper anyway I'm wondering if I should change it to the M Sport or an M3 style bumper. I'm not really in love with the regular sport package front ,but would like to keep things fairly straight forward and have a clean install. Are there any alternatives that won't cost too much? My concern is that I need to buy new fog lights and if the mounting brackets will be the same if I switch to a different style.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Norm |

Been there done that luckily it was in a different car. Definitely get the M Sport it looks fantastic, if you get an M3 bumper remember that an M3 has no fog lights so you will have to remove them.

I think insurance will only pay for matching replacement. You can probably discuss with your local agent about you paying the difference. I like the M3 bumper though. I think the M-sport looks like it has an over-pronounced jaw.

M sport if u want to drool at the front end of every m3 you see, but your options aren't really there for a M3 reproduction front in an LCI e90, at least not with jlevi, unless they came out with something new.
