sports package...
i am going ot test drive both with and without sports package some time but i just wanan ask... is there a BIGGG difference on the "feel" of the car with and without sports package?
also, idk would i be able to feel the difference during the test drive if the CA wont let me try to test the limit etc...? p.s. i have two cars waiting for me one is with sports package and one is without... im debating which one to go with cause sports package one is coming in july and no sports package is coming in may!! ><

If there is any question in your mind about whether or not to get sport package..... Then get it.... There are hundreds of posts on here with folks who decided not to get it, only to wish they had gotten it (more so than any other option out there). I am one of those people who had it on order and then decided that NAV was more important than the SP.... Big mistake..

GET THE SPORTS PACKAGE!!! Bigger tires, wheels, and in my opinion, the best part, sport seats, i love them!!! All this for an addition $1600, you can hardly go wrong! I didn't get the sports package on my '04 530i and regretted it each day i had the vehicle.

My boyfriend's E92 has the sports package. The seats are the best! I would rather wait the 2.5mo's to get the car just the way I want it than have to live the next couple of years knowing that the car I am driving everyday isn't really built the way I wanted it to be.
But hey, it's your call.

The seats are the best reason to get the sports pack. It was on both my e46s and I wouldn't get a 3er without it.

I was debating the same thing, when I was ready to order, the dealer called me and said he got a sports package car in, I went and sat in it and before we even went for a drive I said "okay lets order the sports package" the seats alone are worth the price of admission.

Sports package is great. I have only had 2 bmw's, but I got it on each of them. For me on the options list this is priority number 1, premium and others are down the line.

After having two without ZSP, and now having one with ZSP... I don't think I'd go without it again. I love the seats and the steering wheel.

Although I agree that the overall it looks better with sp...I ordered without it....
2 reasons: 1) I am going to get 19" CSL rims once the car comes in 2) I am a big guy (6'1", 300lbs), the sports seats were too small and uncomfortable for me. I say test drive w/ and without…and see which one you like.

I almost bought a 325i without it and I am so glad I didn't. The driving experience is radically different with the sport pack. If you enjoy driving you car beyond a little old lady on sunday, you will want this. The time spent waiting is well worth it. I didn't even have to think twice about getting it on my 335i I ordered.

You've failed to mention whether you are considering a coupe or a sedan. With/without ZSP on a sedan is a bigger difference than on the coupe. Living in NJ, just be aware that if you get ZSP, plan on changing over to snow tires in the winter because the ZSP tires are performance (summer) tires. Or else go for the xi model.
