I use to think my 335 was slow
until i drove my friends 2000 Izuzu 5-speed pickup.....
Today i drove the pickup for about 2 hours and i guess i got used to it. After i got in my E92 and floored it i was pinned back in the seat and was shocked. ....I guess i just got used to the power of the 335 but after i drove the truck the 335 is a dream. |

I usually look at how fast the speedometer increases to remind me what a beast the 335 is.

Feeling the speed in this car isn't easy, very deceiving. |

so true...I think my car is slower some days than others, but my speedometer seems to move at the same rate, I guess. Then I drive my girlfriends 4 banger Accord and then go back into my car and it seems fast as hell!

I was thinking the same thing, thought mine was getting slower. Took my friend for a ride the other day and he was like "man I love that feeling in my stomach, this thing is fast".

I found driving a 325i loaner around for 6 weeks waiting for your fuel pump to come in is another GREAT way to learn to appreciate the beast that lives under the hood of my 335i coupe

I drove my old man's GTS viper for a few month when I was without a car and believe it or not it didn't seem very fast anymore after 60 days.. even though it trapped 119 stock! Funny how you get used to things.

Yep, when i drive my 2000 Jeep Wrangler it's the same feeling, and that still has 190hp with 4.56 gears and 34inch tires!
