Chicago - NW Suburbs
I would like to ditch these noisy piece of $hit Bridgestone Turanza run flats and go with REAL tires.
I need recommendations on which all-season tires to go with. Also, recommendations on tireshops in NW suburbs would be appreaciated. BTW, I have 2006 330i without ZSP. 17" standard rims. Last edited by Luongo; 05-02-2007 at 11:31 PM.. |

If it's under 10K you should be able to get them replaced free from the dealer. That is, if they are wearing poorly due to manufacture defect. There is a thread about this. There was not official buletin, but I called my Service Assoc. at BMW, and he said that the Turanzas will be replaced it they were making noise, and wearing prematurely and unevenly.
I assume you moved from Vancouver, hence the canadian flag, and avatar name Luongo. I'm a Wild fan, but please, please get the nucks into form to beat the ducks.

Now that I'm at 23k, they are trying to rip me off more by insisting that I pay $150 for alignment check, and only then they MIGHT even consider giving me 50% off on the replacement tires. These guys are very shady, I tell ya. I hate bringing my car to these crooks. I have filed a formal complaint with BMW North America. I hope they can apply some pressure and get me a new set of wheels for around $480. Otherwise, I will just go with REAL TIRES. No more of this run flat nonsense... |

BTW, even Luongo can't save the Canucks in the playoffs. They finally realized that cycling puck forever doesn't work in the playoffs, but it is a little too late. |
