Several spots: the two strips of rubber down the roof, the rubber wrapped around the windshield, and the rubber around the rear window. You know, what a competent person would tape up far better than I did

That trick is for wax residue on plastic, not rubber.

OP, grab a quality rubber cleaner, or even use a product like Klasse All In One by hand.

Oops I got a little confused.... been having some back pain recently and using the OXYs that my doctor prescribed are really bad things... I hate them so much!

Been there done that got the surgery... Pain killers SUCK! I don't know why people like them. Just give me some alcohol.
