Sonax Wheel cleaner ginormous 5L size...

Does Sonax sell a product that is in between the regular 500mL and the 5L size? $99 is just a bit steep for 5L, that'll take forever to go through. I wish they sold something like 2.5L. ugh.

Great now EVERYONE is going to hit you up for it...should have PM'd that one!

Get two bottles of sonax for your personal car...that will last you a year or more! You shouldnt use it EVERYTIME, or even every other time even. I maintain a M3 with it every 6 months....Ill get about 5 applications per bottle, so thats about 5 years time!

After sonax, apply opticoat to the wheels and you will be amazed at the difference in how dirty your wheel is NOT getting! Dirt/brake dust will come right off with a normal washing with car soap.

While Eric is spot on in many ways and in no way wrong, I disagree and say go ahead and purchase the 5L. If you think 100bucks is pricey, keep in mind that first off, that's cheaper than the cost of refinishing a single wheel, and second, you save $50 (half the cost you're complaining about) by purchasing in a larger amount.
Last, because you save so much and have so much, there are no worries in using it every wash or every other wash rather than having to save it for special occasions.

I ended up getting the 5L size. Anywhere I looked it was going to be somewhere between $109-114 shipped.

I got about 3 washes out of the one 500mL bottle which looks about average, from what I can tell when people talk about it.

I switched bottles and put it in one with a chemical resistant trigger sprayer....spreads better and you get better coverage, plus it seems like I use less.

Marc, you would use it every wash or every other wash? Seems kind of like a waste to me. I use it on my xterra wheels every 3 months or so and it cleans them up like new (keeping in mind I dont take care of this thing). it seems as every wash would be kinda pointless
