that little key on the remote ...

I have that little key that comes out of the remote- does that open the trunk. I glanced thru the owners manual and I thought it said manual lock/unlock. But my key doesn't open the luggage compartment. I heard that this year, the key only locks the luggage compartment , but not opening it.
Is this true ?

This topic has been convered just yesterday and their was even 2 threads on it. SEARCH. The key DOES open the trunk. You have to twist it harder then usual and it will pop open.

i searched under luggage, keys and nothing came up. I'll try it again
