BMW Insurance Plans

What are the options? I've heard of things from tire/wheel insurance to body insurance to extended maintenance and parts insurance. Anyone have the full price and rundown of what BMW offers? I'm looking at what I can get for my 335i coupe.

I got extended warranty from Warranty Direct, $2000/6yrs/100kmiles with no deductible. I want to get the extended maintenance, but not sure if it's worth > $1000.

i got the tire and the extended and still deciding if i should get the extended maintenance. My SA told me that its worth it after 4-5 years when you need to change the clutch or something like that.

Go ask for a pricing first! It will make your decision simpler!

Did you negotiate the price of the extended warranty? or you just took it as offered?
I am asking because it seems a bit too high. My guess would have been between $1000 - $1500 for 100K.

I just bought my car and was offered these services. I was only considering the tire insurance, I believe it was around $525. I asked if he could negotiate it because I've heard of people getting it for $350 or so. He said they are not allowed to do that now and BMWNA is directing dealers to set it as a standard price to avoid discrimination lawsuits. Um...how the hell do you negotiate on the price of EVERY CAR YOU SELL then, lol. I don't know whether he was serious or not, but it just seems odd. Anyway, I'm on the fence about getting it at that price. You need 2 destroyed tires to have it pay off.

It's more likely to be a front tire and a rim, at which point it will have easily paid for itself.
