CD stuck in player, any way of getting it out?

Yes, I searched. Found several people with the same problem, but no solutions besides "take it to the dealer."

The car in question is my father-in-law's '09 335i e90 (with the upgraded factory audio system, but no iDrive). He burned a CD full of mp3's and put them in to the CD player. The player played them perfectly, but when he pushed the eject button the CD would not come out. It does not make any sound (no clicking or anything), and now says "CD ERROR" in the radio display. We've tried holding down the eject button, prying the CD out with a credit card, turning the radio/car on and off, but nothing seems to work. He is planning on going to the dealer this weekend, but I wanted to see if you guys have any quick ideas he could try since he unfortunately lives more than an hour away from the closest BMW dealership. Any thoughts or ideas?
