UK E90 (Pre LCI) Underseat SUB Query

Hey guys,

I'm planning to do my install soon but before I do, does anybody know whether the factory underseat subs are glued in or screwed into the enclosures? Some are saying glued and others, screwed – be grateful to know what the general consensus is here?

Thanks,
Sam.

How hard is it to take out these glued subs from the enclosures? Is it do-able without damaging the speaker/enclosure so that I could reuse if I decide to sell the car on?

Speaker might bend. Enclosure is usable. Speaker might have to be screwed back in, and I wouldn't re-install it unless I was selling the car...

That's the only reason I ask as I get bored after a couple of years.. so when I'm ready to sell and the buyer doesn't want SWSs', I can re-install the OEM ones back in, albeit screw in.

Cheers.
