Bit of a strange question...

Will the shift knob off of an e60 M5 SMG fit on a 328xi manual?? I want to upgrade my shift knob, but I kinda like the M5 SMG shift knob more than I like the illuminated M3 shift knob.

Here's the knob that I'm talking about:

Yeah, pretty much. Just wondering if it's possible... I'm already putting M3 SMG paddles in it so...

are you just putting the paddles for show? bc they won't shift your manual car.
