Sonax Wheel Cleaner Rules the World!

I have to put in a shameless plug for Sonax Full Effect wheel cleaner.

I have faithfully used P21S for a decade on BMW brake dust as it worked well and contained no acid (but took a litte elbow grease and a good wheel brush.

I have heard good things about Sonax and was running low on P21S, so I ordered up a bottle and tried it out and I cannot tell you how great the stuff is - P21S I am sorry but I will not be ordering anymore.

The Sonax requires almost no elbow grease at all, contains no acid and made the wheels absolutely spotless, removing stuff the P21S had left behind. I am sold on it and recommend giving it a try.

Rob,

Glad to hear the formula worked so well for you. A lot of people are hesitant to leave their favorite cleaner but the SONAX Wheel Cleaner Full Effect has regularly proved it's worth. It's especially impressive considering it's pH neutral.

I'm also a big fan of Sonax's wheel cleaner.

however, I tend to only use it after I've gone a while without washing my car (you know those rainy/busy weekends )

For my normal weekly washes I tend to favor CG's Diablo wheel gel. The 16oz version is about the same price of Sonax but you can dilute it fairly well like most CG products.

Great stuff. Tried it for the first time last week, and it practically cleaned the wheels by itself with almost no elbow grease needed...you just need to make sure to spread around after spraying because the spray doesn't always hit every spot.

Just don't let it dry on the wheels...make sure the wheels are cool so it won't dry too fast on you.

Love this stuff. I use a quick swab of the EZ brush to touch all the areas, let it sit for a few mins, watch it turn red, then it washes off very clean.
