COBB Stage 2+ Driving Impression, Stett CAI and Clutch Stop Install - with pics!

My buddy came over today to have his new Stett CAI and clutch stop installed.

Install went like a breeze. Perfect fitment on everything and great hardware.

He had Stett custom paint his CAI in a blue color that almost looks like the Grabber Blue Mustang paint. Goes great with his silver exterior!

Clutch stop made a very noticeable difference too

The car is a 335i with full turboback exhaust, HPF FMIC, and COBB Stage 2+ Aggressive.

He let me drive it after the install and the car just rips. It's probably the fastest and most responsive 335i I have ever driven. I'd say it's pretty near perfect!

Excuse the dirty engine bay. Didn't have time to clean it off.

I do too. I'm thinking about getting one too in Red.

You have to take care when installing it, but the finish is strong and resulted in no scratches to the CAI when installing. Definitely a quality product

Still stage 1 for me. Missing downpipes

My orange Stett still looks as good as day one. Crazy how with the HPF fmic and the CAI how fast the IAT drop once the car starts moving!

You wouldn't happen to be in the DMV area so I can look at that setup, would you?

+1, although I have an ER FMIC. At the track this past weekend the car performed perfectly.

Meth isn't gonna do much but suppress IATs on stage 2+. I could be proven wrong by some dyno runs though.

so satge2 is that fast that we don't need to mess up with meth injection?
If so it sounds great to me because i'm not planning to use meth.

What about numbers 0-60,1/4mile, have you clocked them on your ap?
