Xdrive coupe... higher ride height?
I recently got rid of my 2008 328i with sport package and picked up a 2011 335xi coupe with the msport package. With my VMR VB3s 19x8.5 / 19x10 on both cars... it seems like the new car sits much higher and has more wheel well gap than the 328.
So my question... does the normal sport package sit lower than the msport package suspension? (I would think they'd have the same setup) Or does the Xdrive vehicles just have a higher ride height? |

X-drives do not come with the sport suspension - even with the "sport" package. Xi's naturally sit high (way too high) but of course it's for a functional purpose.

Ooo... I may be in the same dilemma as you are.....
Can you lower the car without losing too much handling? Or should I say... "AWD purpose"

I put the Eiback Pro Kit springs on my XI and got the perfect balance of performance/comfort..
OP how do those wheels fit on your car? any issues or rubbing?

When I mount my stock 17" winter setup, the gap is pretty bad. :/ My 19" summers don't look too bad. |

shoot me a pm with your e-mail.. also Eibach has one of the more conservative drops.. hence the comfort.. You'll see in the pics the wheel gap is nice even with the OEM 17's

Na, no rubbing what so ever... and that's without having the fenders rolled. How much did the Eibach setup lower your car? If I went with those is prob end up needing the rear fenders rolled right?
