Just rode in the Technik 335i.......wow.

So, I had my rear 15mm spacers installed at Technik and they looooook great! I'm running stock rims. The car's filthy now so I shall be sure to post pics pronto after I wash the car tomorrow morning.

Anyway, at the end of the evening I went for a ride in the newly tuned Technik 335 and damn......its a monster.

These are the mods on the car:
- custom bodywork
- KW variant 1
- BBS rims (w/ a rear tire width the size of Texas)
- Full Brembo BBK
- Gruppe M carbon fiber intake system
- HKS BOV
- RDSport Exhaust System
- Piggy-back Xede (Technik Tuned)

I can't say I've ridden in a Vishnu car but man.......this car is awesome. The power was linear all the way as it accelerated to Redline. We drove onto the freeway and even while taking high speed, long arching left and right handed turns the car held steady. Each gear was phenomenal and pulled like crazy till the next shift point. No sudden "jerks" of boost and that out-of-control feeling at all. I was very, very impressed.

What really got me was the ride quality as well. This car has the base KW V1 installed (coilover/non-adjustable dampening - sport) and it rode so smooth, even as we were going slow and over rough patches of asphalt. IT IS SMOOTHER THAN THE STOCK SUSPENSION.....its nuts. I was thinking of getting V2's and these V1's are actually good enough. Unless you really track hard and need to change your setup frequently, the V1 is all you need.

All I can say is that if I had the mooolah to spend on those mods I would get them. Amazingly well put together. Everything felt right its almost hard to explain really. The exhaust note sounded perfect too.....wow, wow, wow. Its easy to have money and buy everything in sight, but to know how to make them all function as an integral unit is what Technik has accomplished flawlessly.

No, I do not work for them.......they just really know their stuff and I am truly impressed with their work thus far. And yes, I will be using their "box" soon so i shall be sure to keep you all updated on how it runs.

Good Job to the peeps at Technik!!!

If you want a setup like theirs, yes......but you'd have to have the rear panels customized and rolled out really aggressively.

it all worked like a wonderful symphony......just the right amount of sound from the intake, but not very much. The power gain is what I believe the intake truly provides...and not to mention how freaking BeAuTIfUl it looks when the bonnet is opened.....bliss I tell you.

I'll be sure to post some pics tomorrow

305 to be exact. I myself think it is too fat and I'm going to have them design the bodywork to fit 295.

was the car on the lowest ride-height? im wondering if the v1's handle just as well if it was on the lowest setting. because im planning on getting v1's soon and i wanna make it the lowest, but if the lower u go with the v1 the worse the handling i may just stick with v2.

19x11" wheels would hook up a lot better with that extra power though. I just can't imagine the cost to make them fit.

About the power and the "hook-up" to the ground.....those 300s definitely do the job. In DTC mode (fun mode), the car was still so powerful it induced wheelspin from 1st to 2nd - but you could feel the wheels getting the grip back immediately in the beginning of 2nd. In my opinion its the perfect setup to handle that kind of power and still have a good amount of control....it kills me that the bodywork does not come cheap. I hope someday, someone does pre-fabricated flared sides so you can still detach the stock panels and keep them safely tucked away for future use.

However, as you all have requested, here are the pics of that bad boy (sorry but I forgot to use ze flash):
