ordered new 335is...

3 weeks ago, black exterior, read leather and every option possible. Currently have a 335i coupe ( got rear ended last week at a stop light) Any "is" drivers with some feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've had my 335is for a couple weeks now. Absolutely love it. I'm still in the break-in period but I have to say it's one of the best cars I have ever owned.

Shouldn't you have asked for feedback before ordering one?

Very quick & Very, Very quick....with the DCT & Manual/Sport mode its like having two different cars. Just got smoked front side reflectors...hope to get them on this weekend to replace the orange ones.

Dont listen to her, she's jealous she couldnt get one. The 335is is way better looking and beats the shit out of the N55.

I have had mine for almost a year and have 16K on the odo. I love driving this car. I make up errands just so I can get out and drive. It looks awesome. It sounds awesome, particularly when driving in MANUAL. You have launch control, sport mode, and some traction control. For most driving, just keep the shifter in DRIVE.

For the fast and the furious, place the shifter in MANUAL and press the Sport button and turn on the DTC (Dynamic Traction Control). Of course you will need to upshift and downshift yourself (Duh!) using the paddles or stick. Otherwise place the shifter in SPORT and the car will aggressively shift for you.
If you do not turn on the DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) the car will not allow you to accelerate hard from a dead stop. It will sense your wheel spin and it cuts power automatically. With the DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) engaged, the car will not cut power and allow the wheel spin. DO NOT disable the DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) unless you are Mario Andretti or you will end up in a ditch.
Enjoy...

Mine has been at the dealer getting serviced since Tuesday. When I'm back in town I am going to do launch control twice out of their service bay because I have some pent up driving to get out of my system after being in the 328nn (no nav) sedan all week.

Just for stats purposes, I've hit just over 17k and had the car since June 16, 2010 and my rear tires are now hitting the wear bars. Legitimately "bald." as far as treaded street tires go. Fronts have 40% left according to their measuring tool. I think 17k isn't bad given the way I drive.

Almost 2 months

Have 1500 miles on our E93, 1st BMW in the family. My favorite part of driving the car is putting the DCT into manual or into sport mode and hearing the pops and crackles from the exhaust on downshifts and decelerations. Makes me feel like I'm in a race car. I'll be looking at a few minor brake upgrades before trying out an open track day at Streets of Willow in October or November.

So far it's been great! I had originally been looking at a used 2008 M3 sedan or a 2010 S4 (both manual), but my wife convinced me (she's always right, you know) that I get bored too fast to buy a car for the long term, so we leased the is.
