so far we have exhaust, intake and ecu upgrades (reflash, procede, xede and turbo tuner). is there any thing else out yet? (throttle bodies, larger intercoolers) , etc. etc.

1) PROcede
2) Non-rtf tires.
3) LSD, yet to materialize in final form, but fundamental
4) Exhaust, standard cat-back with x-over will do
5) Suspension, if you want pure track bebefit

Huge... especially with wider wheels that would support a F235/R265 configuration.... but the biggest difference comes from ditching the RTF tires. They are supprisingly grippy, but much less so than a set of PS2's or F1's.

I have 18" 162s with Michelin PS2 RFTs. They are excellent for trackday use(Nuerburgring:check, Assen:check, Papenburg:check)

Dunno what the fuzz is about. Good RFTs are good RFTs, sidewalls are like concrete= more precision.

I avoid the use of high performance Air Filters. Yes, you get less restrictive air flow but you allow more dust to pass through. Some ( especially M3 E46 ) users destroyed their MAF sensors due to the oil on the filters.

Cheers

the LSD is available, bavariacars in Australia sell the Drexler LSD diff (and are distrubutors) that was used in the bathurst 12 hour race that the 335 won.

I also wouldn't call a turbo timer a mod, they are a wank really. You don't need one, especially on a factory car or even a mildly modded one.

Tirerack.com. They usually have the best prices.

I found better prices at onlinetires.com, about $40 per tire better than tirerack.

Those PS2 RFT's you refer to ARE runflats. RFT = runflat

He asked about 335i. 335i has Potenzas, which are a lot better tires than the outdated PS2.

X-over is not doing any good for you.
Turbo-back is a lot better than cat-back. Who would leave the cats in the downpipes? So far only Supersprint offers Turbo-back, but you can get one custom made. Makes a huge difference.
