Tyre and handling question
A colleague at work. Bought a 57 plate 325d e92 titani silver the same week I got my 320d. The bugger, has replaced his rear tyres with runflats bridgestones. He asked if there should be a reason why the handling would now change and be a lot lighter. Sounds like it is making him nervous to put the car into corners.
Any ideas on what to look for?

Sorry it wasn't that clear I will have to ask about the fronts. It came from AUC so I guess they are rft fronts too.
Gizze can different manufacturers really have that big an impact on the handling?

Yeah, there are hundreds of posts over the years saying that the car is a twitchy mess and 99 times out of 100 it is mismatched tyres, BMWs hate it.

You can be lucky and get two different treads that seem to work fine with each other, but this is far more rare than two that don't work together.
Just not worth the gamble of fucking your cars handling really. |
