E90 Radio Question

Does anyone know if the buttons on the radio are removable (2008 BMW 335i, no idrive). A slighltly drunk friend of mine somehow splashed a few drops of his drink onto the radio and a couple of buttons are now sticky.

I would try just pulling them out, as I assume that's all you have to do, but I don't want to break anything.

The volume and tune? Those one's pull right off. If it's one of the others you have to take apart the radio.
