Is the Z4 a girls car?

Believe me i'm not trolling here.. i love the z4 and am very serious about trading in my 328 coupe for an '06 perhaps an '07 3.0si. But ive heard the comment from alot of my friends that its a girls car and the only people you see driving them are middle aged women. I dont agree, but I just dont see many on the road to have an opinion of em so whats the thought on the z4 in the bimmer world?

Well to answer your question the Z4 is a girls car or atleast thats what most people think. But i really dont care what other people think i came from a 06 325i
e90 i loved that car but wow this is car is soo much fun to drive and its rare you dont see the coupe anywhere atleast here in ca i havent seen another coupe on the road since i bought it. I see Z4 Conv here and there and most of the time there males driving i have seen a few females but yeah the car kicks ass am happy with it and you should go get one!!!!!!!!!!!

Hah depends on who you ask. Most people that rip on a car and call it a girls car are idiots. I see women drive SUVs and trucks way more then I see them in roadsters... food for thought. Drive what you like and enjoy it, dont worry about other's opinions

I saw a list on forbes.com or somewhere off msn.com saying the Z4 was the #1 car on their top 10 list of luxury cars that women drive

seems like I see a good mix of men and women driving them, but I'd say it's mainly guys

i don't really think it's gender specific, but i've notice that i usually see women driving them.....that's the only reason i vote "girl car," but like i said its not so gender specific in my opinion

some chick told me I drive a Girls car. Although she seemed real jealous. I done think a 6 speed 330BHP M Coupe is a girls girl, esp. black on black.

The most obvious answer is probably that the coupe is more masculine and the vert is more feminine. Thats in general, but of course among bmw enthusiasts its a different story and every car fits in the community, so these generalisations are useless. I think the point of this poll was to see what the general public (non enthusiast) will view you when you are driving a Z4, I would say more likely then not they will view it as feminine.

I guess the only thing that matters is...do you think what your driving says chick car or all man baby? It's up to you, and if you don't like your own answer, than you shouldn't be driving it, just enjoy it and move on
