Colorado: Tire Question, wish to try tire size
Hi, Does anyone have a BMW wheel with a 275/35/18 tire that I can try on my front wheel just to see if it fits? (Maybe even drive it around the parking lot.) I have a lot of camber, so I want to see what size spacer I may need to fit this size. Of course I'll need to know your offset. I realize I can just add 1cm (the other "1cm" goes to the outside) to see if I clear the front strut with 255/35/18s, but I want to see with my own eyes. Thanks in advance.

Well obviously it's not. Would the wheel fit over the hub flange? Shit, this means I'd have to take my studs off (well, 4 of them, if not all), which I have loctited on. Obviously can't drive on it, but I guess I could get a look-see with it still on the jack/stand. Is it a Chevy wheel? You know the offset by chance?

Wonder with -3.5 degrees of camber if that will help?

I'm at 42 offset. When/where are you around so I could just place the wheel on the hub?

The whole purpose of this is I realize I need more tire on the ground. BTW, I wore these Hankook R-compounds out in two days at HPR. $856 in tires in two days. Maybe smoking crack is cheaper than this addiction?
