Considering to buy the e92 320i coupe.

Well have a e90 320i sedan now and considerig to change it to a e92 320i coupe. The coupe has the new engine which means 170hp against the old ones 150hp, and even less fuel consumption. So what does people think about their coupes and what about the change from 4doors to 2 doors? And anybody had a chance to try the new 320i engine, have driven the 325i coupe myself and was very pleased with it. So what do you think? Coupe nicer than 4 door?

I will be purchasing the diesel one. The only thing I can say for sure is that the look of the Coupé is much nicer but that is personally offcourse

Good luck!

Hi, if you can afford it go for it!!! Also consider the 320d as you can get it remapped and extract even more BHP!!! A mate had his E90 320d remapped and he can keep up with my 330i!!

The 320i Coupe is very nice. (just ordered one myself)

The dealer didnt have one in for my test drive but i drove the 320i convertible. I have to say, the ride was firm and smooth and felt very solid. performance wasnt neck braking but there was around 220kilos worth of people in it and the coupe is slightly better so i would imagine it would be fine.

I was very please overall. If you definately dont want the diesel, you wont be disapointed with the petrol 320i coupe.

Isnt there the issue that they ECU is now encrypted? As such cannot be remapped?

I think sedans look better then coupes.

BTW, get a diesel. Remap, and enjoy. It's a great car. Don't bother with petrol.
