I took delivery today!
So I finally got my E90 335i today (week 11 build). All I can say is that it was worth the wait.
It is Alpine White, with Sport Package, USB port, Bluetooth/Assist. I just came back from putting about 160km/100mi on it, just driving around the city. Got about 15mpg with a lead foot. Here are my first impressions. The acceleration is out of this world. The handling and ride are very nice, however the steering doesn't feel as good as my old ZHP. The USB adapter is awesome, as is the Logic7 system. The Bluetooth works much better than the one in my X3. BMW really blew it on two things: The tiny side mirrors, and the stupid placement of the window switches. Did I mention the great acceleration? Can't wait till this puppy is broken in. I'll get my good camera out on the weekend and take some decent pictures. Andre |

Very nice! I'm really starting to like white on the E90. Do you have any pics of the interior? Looks like beige to me.

Congrats man!!!!!
...now you just wait til' that engine breaks in, and you'll lose your mind at the torque and purring. Butter oh, do yourself a favor, change the oil at about 6k-7k miles...you will notice a new level of smoothness again. Cool. Whip. Sorry, just came from happy hour mate! |

Oh, forge to mention...
The mirrors, you will get use to, but dag nabbit, I still let the rear windows down thinking their the fronts. And the turn signal quirkiness will become normal. oh, and be careful of The Black Hole....<--that's the space between your seat and the transmission tunnel. I dropped some chapstick down there and it's been staring up at me more three months |

Oh come on. Don't you mean that stick + no video game screen = race car driver wannabe? Ok, i'm being sarcastic...I have the steptronic and iDrive. iDrive = techy gadget (tons of fun to play with and great navigation system) Steptronic = sporty and can shift faster than I bet I could at my best. (Maybe thats not saying much, but i'd like to believe it is) So...to me Steptronic + iDrive = sporty and tech savvy - not so but still within the realm of an enthusiast i'd say! Someone always has to discriminate....do i detect a hint of ant-iDrive-ite? |
