Post What products do you use to clean your car?

Just wanted to get an idea of what products/brands you use to keep your Bimmer pristine. Also, where do you get them from?

List below

I use only showcar detail products (wash, detail spray, wheel cleaner). They are local to me so they take care of semi-annual detailing for me.

what's the best car washing soap for the BMW's? Just got my 335i and the books says to use specialty stuff. What are you using for regular car washing? Yes, it's a newbie question.

There are man car shampoos out there and in general, the best is the one that you feel works best for you. Keep in mind, there are two differrent types of car shampoos: maintenance shampoos and paintwork cleaning shampoos.

Maitenance shampoos are used for regular maintenance washes, as in your weekly/bi-weekly car wash to get dust, bugs, etc. off your paint, while enhancing the shine and retaining any protection layer (wax/sealant). My favorites are: Optimumn No Rinse, which doesn't require rinsing and can also be used as a quick detailer at a higher concentration. Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II is also a good maintenance shampoo as well as Dodo Juice Born to be Mild.

Paintwork cleaner shampoos are used to strip any layers of protection on the paint surface - generally before the paint undergoes a round of polishing. This type of shampoo is much stronger than maintenance shampoos for the simple fact that it strips off protection - so do not use paintwork cleanser shampoos for your regular maintenance washes. I prefer Chemical Guys Citrus Wash as my paintwork cleaner shampoo.

I use mostly all Adams Products besides their buckets.

Used it on recent 325i I picked up and My Camaro SS.
Been giving me great results for quite some time now.
