There definitely needs to be something within you to ride a sportbike competently. by that I don't mean going to the closest Starbucks and back.

Motorcycles and especially sportbikes are risky and that's what makes some of motorcycle riders badass

I've wanted to get into the sportbike world (specifically Ducati/MV) but my biggest fear is the idiot driver that isn't paying attention more than anything. I consider myself a pretty good driver on the roads but I've cut off a motorcycle twice because I honestly didn't see the guy when I checked my mirrors like usual.

lol when starting off, you've got a LONG way before you can handle any of the superbikes that MV and Ducati offer. Not only do drivers pose a risk to motorcyclists, but many a times motorcyclists can be his own worst enemy. Many do not know the limits of there own bikes or their ability. In general lack of experience, and too much bike for the ride causes many situations such as this.

Riding a motorcycle is only part of the equation. Knowing how to ride one correctly is a whole different story.
