Looking to buy a Kegerator...

Well I convinced my wife a Kegerator is a good investment (I know she bought it somehow).

Anyone have any advice on brands? I want one that fits a full size keg (half barrel)

You'll alWays get the shit end of the stick. But relevant, I looked into getting one a while back. The whole system can be had for less than $1000 used. Check eBay and local restaurant suppliers.

Everyone I know in college built their own/got them on craigslist. They all seemed to work fine, I couldn't say that one was better than another, etc...

So if it's just something you're gonna have in the basement or garage you could probably pick something up that gets the job done on craigslist. If you want like some super fancy shit with an integrated wetbar and granite counter top, idk tbh, probably buy your own parts and go custom
