Can you swap m5 engine on to 335i.

The new e90 335i chassis is wide enough to fit v8 m3 2008. i m curious if you can swap m5 engine on 335i. Can it be done?

Can it be done? yes probably. it would be pretty damn hard though to get everything working to produce maximum output of power

Will it be done? i seriously doubt it since they're both relatively new cars

you could get it done. However, the car would end up costing a boatload more $ than just buying an M5 itself.

Search for 'Hartge V10 E90'.

You can eaisly get the 335's engine up to 400hp/400ftlbs torque - with minor upgrades like an ecu piggy back and exhaust. Why bother with the cash outlay and headaches to attempt this?

Just call up Hartge and give them your credit card number.
Make sure you have credit limit more than $50,000 ready to spend.

Because it's a race bred V10 that sounds like this if you put a nice Meisterschaft exhaust on it.
